Abstrak
The primary objective of this study is to determine whether the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve students’ learning outcomes in the subject of Pancasila Education. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design. The participants consisted of 32 students from class VIII H at SMP Negeri 10 Malang. Data collection methods included tests and observations. A descriptive qualitative approach was used for data analysis, involving four stages: planning, observation, implementation, and reflection. The findings revealed a notable improvement in students’ learning outcomes. In the second cycle, the percentage of students who achieved mastery increased to 88%, compared to 72% in the first cycle. It can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model effectively enhances students' academic performance, particularly in the topic of “Wawasan Nusantara” within the Pancasila Education curriculum. Based on the results, the study recommends: (1) Project Based Learning can be applied to other subjects; (2) further research should be conducted to explore more creative and conceptual instructional media; and (3) improvements should be made to the test framework to ensure more reliable assessment results.
