Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class III students. SDN Purwantoro IV Malang through the application of the discovery learning model assisted by Educaplay media. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design. The subjects of this research were all 19 class III students at SDN Purwantoro IV Malang. The research was carried out over two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection on follow-up plans. Data was collected using learning outcomes test assessments. The research results show a significant increase in learning outcomes in each cycle. In cycle I and cycle II, they succeeded in increasing the percentage of student completion in the pre-cycle from 42% to 52.6% and 78.9%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the discovery learning model assisted by Educaplay media in science learning can improve student learning outcomes.
