Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Berfikir Kritis Siswa
Abstract
Abstract: This Classroom Action Research (PTK) aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the application of the Discovery Learning learning model. The Discovery Learning method encourages students to actively discover and investigate new concepts, which is expected to improve their critical thinking skills. This research was carried out at SDN Pisangcandi 02 Malang City with subjects of 28 grade IV students for 2 months. This PTK is carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The instruments used to measure improvement in critical thinking include pre-tests and post-tests, as well as observations of class activities and group discussions. The results showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking abilities, which was reflected in higher test scores and classroom observations that showed students' active involvement in the learning process. The results of this research indicate that the application of Discovery Learning is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and can be applied more widely as an innovative and interactive learning strategy in educational contexts.
