Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Games Tournament Dengan Menggunakan Media Wordwall Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Kelas 3 SDN Ciptomulyo 2 Malang

Abstract: The teaching methods used so far have not employed innovative models or media to actively engage and motivate students, leading to boredom and a lack of enthusiasm in the learning process. This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Ciptomulyo 2 Malang by implementing the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model and Wordwall media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted over 2 cycles, each consisting of 2 meetings. The research instruments include observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis involves using questionnaires to collect both qualitative and quantitative data. The subjects of this study are 21 third-grade students, focusing on mathematics. The research was conducted in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results show an improvement in the average cognitive assessment scores of students from the pre-cycle (57.61) to cycle 1 (75.23), reaching 83.33 in cycle 2. The percentage of students achieving mastery increased from 28.57% in the pre-cycle to 61.90% in cycle 1, and 80.95% in cycle 2. Thus, the results of cycle 2 show an average increase of 8.1 and a mastery percentage increase of 19.05% compared to cycle 1. The implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model with Wordwall media has proven effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students.
