Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Kelas 5 pada Mata Pelajaran IPAS
Abstract
Abstract: This research is based on the low cognitive learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the Natural Sciences and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in fifth-grade IPAS lessons on students' cognitive learning outcomes. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) design involving two cycles. The subjects were fifth-grade students of elementary school in Kota Malang. The variable used is the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes through the implementation of the project-based learning (PjBL) in IPAS material. This is evident from the results of research conducted on the pre-action of students who got a complete score of 10 people or 35.71% with an average score of 62.67 while students who were not complete were 18 people or 64.28%. In cycle I, students who got a complete score were 17 students or 60.71% with an average score of 73.57 while students who were not complete were 11 students or 39.2%, so there was an increase in cycle I compared to pre-action. However, it has not yet met the completeness category that has been determined. Therefore, the research continued in cycle II, namely students who got a complete score of 26 students or 92.85% while students who were not complete were 2 students or 7.14% with an average score of 87.67, so there was an increase in the cycle and had met the predetermined completeness.
