Abstract

The study is intended to implement the model of the problem-based learning in improving learning participants at IPAS learning about listening because of the sound in the V-A class of Malang city. This type of study is a classroom action reaction (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches performed in two cycles. The data-gathering technique in this study is observation, testing and documentation. Data obtained based on test scores at the end of cycles I and cycle II. These findings suggest an increased learning result. The result can be seen from an accurate value that reaches a 75% value of KKM minimum on 15%, cycles 1 is 56%, and cycles 2 is 89%. Based on the description above, it is concluded that the implementation of the problem-based learning in improving learning results at IPAS learning about hearing because of the sound in V-A SDN Polehan 2 of Malang city, students can enhance students' learning.
