Peningkatan Keaktifan Dan Pemahaman Konsep Bangun Datar Menggunakan Model Discovery Learning Berbantuan Media “DEGOTANG”
Abstract
Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the increase in activity and understanding of the concept of flat material using the discovery learning model assisted by "degotang" media in grade 4 students at SDN Bandungrejosari 1, Malang City. Student activity data was collected using observation techniques, while concept understanding data was collected using written tests. This research is a classroom action research designed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. Data were analyzed descriptively, quantitatively and comparatively. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in student activity from cycle I by 69.4% to 81% in cycle II. Meanwhile, students' conceptual understanding increased from cycle I by 50% to 96.3% in cycle II. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the "degotang" media has a big effect on increasing student activity and understanding of student learning in grade 4 flat shape material.
