Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of comic strip media in learning Indonesian language in grade 1 students of SD Sukun 3 Malang. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of three stages, namely planning, implementation, and assessment. The subjects in this research were students of class 1-A SDN Sukun 3 Malang. The data collection technique used a written test. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analysis. The data were analyzed by descriptive percentage. The results showed that learning using comic strip media was successful because it achieved the success indicators of learning applied. This is based on the data obtained in cycle I, the average learning outcomes of students showed a value of 70.76 with a percentage of completeness of 34.61%. As for cycle II, the average learning outcomes of students reached 84.4 with a percentage of completeness of 84.61. So it can be concluded that comic media is effective in improving grade 1 Indonesian language learning at SDN Sukun 3 Malang.
