Penerapan Permainan Tradisional Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Kelas IV
Abstract
Abstract: Lack of student activity in learning, low student enthusiasm and the atmosphere and conditions of the class affect the learning process in the classroom.Teachers need to determine the right method because it has an impact on learning success. Therefore, teachers and students need effective and innovative learning methods to increase learning activities and suit students' learning styles.The learning method used in this research is the application of traditional games in learning. This research aims to increase learning activities in science and science subjects for Class IV students at SDN Bakalan Krajan 2, Malang City through the application of traditional games. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles.The data collection techniques used were participatory observation, field notes, and documentation, while the data analysis techniques used were quantitative descriptive data analysis with percentages. The results of this research show that the application of traditional games can increase learning activities in science and science subjects for Class IV students at SDN Bakalan Krajan 2, Malang City. The average percentage of learning activities in science subjects increased by 16.31% from cycle I of 68.84% to 85.15% in cycle II. The increase in learning activities in science subjects is also shown by an increase in the number of indicators that meet the minimum criteria of 75%.
