Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to increase learning activity using the SQ3R method in the Pancasila Education subject of grade IVB students of SDN Bakalan Krajan 2. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research carried out over two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class IVB consisting of 24 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that learning using the SQ3R method can increase learning activity in the Pancasila Education subject of grade IVB students of SDN Bakalan Krajan 2. Students are more active, enthusiastic in following learning. The learning activity of students in the initial condition is 33.33% or equivalent to 8 children out of 24 children. The increase in learning activity in cycle 1 was 20.83% to 54.16% or equivalent to 13 children from 24 children, while in cycle II it increased again by 20.84% to 75% or equivalent to 18 children from 24 children.
