Model Game Based Learning Menggunakan Media Puzzle Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Suku Kata Peserta Didik Kelas IB SDN Sukun 3 Malang
Abstract
Abstract: This research was carried out with the aim of improving students' understanding of syllables by using a Game Based Learning model using puzzle media in the IB class at SD Negeri Sukun 3 Malang. Game Based Learning is a game-based learning model involving student participation through games introduced by David de Vries and Keith Edward. Puzzles were first introduced by John Spilsbury as a type of game that involves the process of arranging pieces of images to form a complete or complete image. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) and was carried out over two cycles with 29 class IB students as research subjects. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, tests, documentation. Data analysis was carried out using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that the Game Based Learning learning model using puzzle media can improve students' understanding of syllables. The research results showed that the percentage of completeness of knowledge aspects in syllables in cycle I was 79,3%, cycle II was 86,2%.
