Abstract

Abstract: Mathematics is crucial in everyday life. However, many students still achieve results below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). Learning outcomes are influenced by several factors, one of which is the teaching model used. This study aims to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes using the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model. The Snowball Throwing cooperative model involves students learning in groups, with each group creating question balls. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with each cycle consisting of planning, activity implementation, observation, and reflection. The results obtained in Cycle 1 show a student pass rate of 53.8%, while in Cycle 2, the percentage increases to 80.8%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model enhances students’ learning outcomes in mathematics.
