Abstract

Abstract: The results of observations and interviews at SDN Tanjungrejo 4 Malang showed low student learning outcomes in science and science subjects which were caused by students' lack of attention to learning and teachers not having found a learning model that suited the characteristics of class IV students so that learning became monotonous and less varied. The purpose of this research is to determine the application of the talking stick learning model to my science and subject learning outcomes and my needs. The method used is classroom action research (PTK). The objects of this research were 27 class IV students. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation and test questions. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive in the form of student learning outcomes expressed in student achievement scores and qualitative descriptive in the form of observational data. The research results after implementing the talking stick learning model assisted by wordwall media, student learning outcomes increased each cycle. In cycle I, student learning outcomes in science subjects reached 44%. Meanwhile in cycle II it reached 85%. So it can be concluded that between cycle I and cycle II there was an increase of 41%.
