Upaya Peningkatan Pemahaman Peserta Didik Dalam Pembelajaran Matematika Materi Penjumlahan Dan Pengurangan Kelas I Sekolah Dasar Melalui Pendekatan Tarl Dengan Media Pembelajaran Papan Berhitung
Abstract
Abstract: This research aims to improve students' understanding of addition and subtraction material in grade I elementary school through the help of arithmetic board learning media. The subjects of this research were class I students at SDN Gadang 3, Malang City, consisting of 26 students. This type of research is collaborative classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out over 2 cycles with a total of 4 meetings. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, written tests, and documentation. The results of the research show that learning using the counting board learning media can improve students' understanding of addition and subtraction material. The results of students' learning completion in the pre-cycle got a percentage score of 50%, cycle 1 got a percentage score of 65%, cycle 2 got a percentage score of 85%. Based on the final completion in cycle 2 which has reached 85%, it can be stated that the research carried out has been successful according to the researchers' expectations.
