Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve science learning outcomes through the implementation of the cooperative learning model, specifically the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) type, in sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Percobaan 2 Malang. The type of research conducted is collaborative classroom action research (PTK-K) consisting of two cycles. The subjects of this study are fourth-grade students of SDN Percobaan 2 Kota Malang, totaling 27 students. Qualitative and quantitative data were used in this research. Collaborative PTK-K was carried out through pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2 with the following research results: 1) the average score in pre-cycle I was 53.7, in cycle I was 68.1, and in cycle II was 80.4. 2) the percentage of mastery learning in pre-cycle was 22%, in cycle I was 67%, and in cycle II was 85%. Based on the results of the research and discussions conducted, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model is able to improve the learning achievement of the material on needs and desires for second-grade students of SDN Percobaan 2 Kota Malang in the academic year 2023/2024
