Penerapan Model Inkuiri Berbantuan Media Jam untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir HOTS Siswa Kelas 2 SD di Kota Malang

Abstract: HOTS thinking skills are important for students to have in mathematics lessons. HOTS allows students to think critically, analytically and creatively in solving mathematical problems. This research aims to improve the HOTS thinking skills of grade 2 students using an inquiry model with the help of clock media. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 2nd grade students consisting of 27 students. The research instruments used were the HOTS thinking ability test, student learning activity observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the research show that there is a significant increase in students' HOTS thinking abilities after participating in mathematics learning using the inquiry model assisted by clock media. It can be concluded that an appropriate learning model oriented towards the development of HOTS thinking, as well as the use of contextual media can help students to think HOTS in understanding the concept of time.
