Penerapan Pendekatan TaRL untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Kelas II Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Abstract: The development of information and communication technology in the 21st century requires the education sector to prepare students to be able to master 4 skills. 21st century skills are known as high-level thinking skills. The problem found in the field is that learning outcomes tend to be low, which can be seen from the behavior of students who pay less attention to learning mathematics. This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning by implementing the TaRL (Teaching at The Right Level) approach. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects using 1 class II A were 27 students at SD Negeri Gadang 3 Malang for the 2023/2024 academic year. The action design in this research consists of two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, tests and documentation. The results show that implementing the TaRL (Teaching at The Right Level) approach was carried out well. The completion percentage of cycle 1 only reached 78% and cycle II rose to 89%. The research that has been carried out shows that the TaRL approach can improve the learning outcomes of class II A students at SD Negeri Gadang 3 Malang.
