Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa SD Melalui Pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level
Abstract
The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN
Sukorejo 2, Kediri Regency. The formulation of the problem posed is whether using the problem-based
learning model with a teaching at the right level approach can improve student learning outcomes in
thematic subjects of natural science content in class IV SDN Sukorejo 2, Kediri Regency. This type of
research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in 2 cycles using the Kemis and
McTaggart model research design. The stages in this study include planning, action, observation, and
reflection. The subjects of this study were 38 grade IV students at SDN Sukorejo 2, Kediri Regency. The
results of the cycle I action test obtained an average value of 74.8. In cycle II the action test results
increased. Cycle II obtained an average value of 86.3. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that
using the problem-based learning model with a teaching at the right level approach can improve
student learning outcomes in the thematic subjects of Natural Science content, force and motion in
class IV SDN Sukorejo 2, Kediri Regency.
