Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning motivation of students in the subject of
Integrated Science (IPAS). Based on observations, it is found that students do not enjoy classical
learning, and they tend to become more engaged when given tasks by the teacher. This observation is
supported by a survey given to 27 students, where 21 students stated that they do not like the
continuous use of problem-solving methods in learning. The research aims to describe efforts to
improve students' learning motivation through the creation of a scrapbook in the subject of Integrated
Science for Grade 4A at SDN Bandungrejosari 01. Data collection techniques include observation,
interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis.
The results indicate that the creation of a scrapbook can enhance students' learning motivation in
each cycle. In Cycle I, the results show that students' learning motivation is 84%. Meanwhile, in Cycle
II, there is an increase in learning motivation by 8.9%, reaching 92.9%.
