Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase in reading literacy and student learning achievement using the scramble model assisted by hapkekal media (happy note local wisdom). This research was carried out in class 1 of SDN Tanjungrejo 5 with the participation of 22 students and lasted for 2 cycles. The data collection methods use observation, interviews, tests, field notes and documentation. The research results showed that after conducting research using the scramble model assisted by Hapkekal media to increase reading literacy in pre-cycle actions, the average was 68.7, in cycle I it was 76.5 and in cycle II it was 87.5. Meanwhile, to improve student learning achievement in pre-cycle actions, cycle I and cycle II, each obtained an average of 66.5, 78.4, and 86.1. This shows that the scramble model assisted by hapkekal media (happy note local wisdom) can improve the reading literacy and learning achievement of grade 1 students at SDN Tanjungrejo 5.
