Peningkatan Kemampuan Membandingkan Informasi antara Buku Fiksi dan Non Fiksi dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level pada Peserta Didik Kelas VII C di SMP Negeri 12 Malang
Abstract
Abstract: Students often find it difficult to understand the differences and compare important information between fiction and non-fiction books. This is because it involves understanding, analyzing, interpreting and comparing information. The aim of this research is to measure the effectiveness of the TaRL approach in improving students' ability to compare information between fiction and non-fiction books. The methodology used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out through two cycles with two meetings each. This research was conducted on 30 students from class VII C at SMP Negeri 12 Malang. Data collection instruments use observation sheets and assessment sheets. The data analysis method is quantitative description. Learning outcomes in the group increased from cycle I to cycle II with an average score exceeding the KKM 75. The conclusion obtained from this research is that learning through the TaRL approach is able to achieve the learning objective indicators of comparing information between fiction and non-fiction books and increasing learning activity and group learning outcomes.
