Penerapan Teknik Role Play Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbicara Pada Siswa Kelas VII-D SMPN 12 Malang
Abstract
Abstract: Indonesian language teachers often face two choices: teach Indonesian to get grades, or train students to use the language as a language of communication. It seems that the first option was chosen because so far the measure of success in learning Indonesian has been grades. What happens next is that classroom learning gets boring day after day. Most of students' study time is spent working on questions from the teacher or books. How is Indonesian language learning in class VII-D? Based on the results of the diagnostic text carried out, the majority of class VII-D students like learning by playing. However, the problem that exists in class VII-D is that students are reluctant to carry out presentation activities. One effort to increase motivation to improve speaking skills is by providing role playing as a form of Indonesian language learning activity in class. This is to create an Indonesian language atmosphere in the classroom. In role playing, students are placed in certain situations and interact with their friends in Indonesian.
