Abstract

Abstract: The main problem in this research is whether the application of differentiated learning using the Role Playing method can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students in Pancasil education subjects? The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of Class V students at SD Negeri Kebonsari 2 Malang City by implementing differentiated learning using the Role Playing method in Pancasila Education lessons. This research design refers to the research model proposed by Arikunto in Zukira (2015) which consists of 4 components, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementing actions, (3) observation/observation, and (4) reflection. Based on the results of research conducted in class V of SD Kebonsari 2, Malang City, it is known that there was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, student activity in cycle one was in the sufficient category and teacher activity was also in the sufficient category, the percentage of classical learning completeness in cycle I amounting to 44.4%. This indicates that the action research carried out has not been successful so it needs to be continued in the second cycle. Student activity in cycle two, which was observed using an observation sheet, showed an improvement from cycle one, if in cycle one, student activity was in the sufficient category, in cycle two it increased to good, likewise, teacher activity which in cycle one was in the sufficient category in cycle two increased. be good. The percentage of classical learning completeness in cycle II increased from cycle one which was only 44.4% in cycle two, increasing to 77.7%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of differentiated learning using the Role Playing method can improve the learning outcomes of Class V students at Kebonsari 2 Elementary School, Malang City in the Pancasila Education subject.
