Abstract
Abstract: The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has made it imperative for individuals to master these skills. 21st-century skills are known as high-level thinking skills. The problem found in the field is the gap between the ideal condition and the actual condition. The motivation for learning and learning outcomes tend to be low, as can be seen from the behavior of students who pay less attention to learning mathematics. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research is to determine the impact of the TaRL Approach with the Discovery Learning Model on increasing student motivation and mathematics learning outcomes. The methodology used is Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles, namely Cycle I two meetings and Cycle II two meetings and was carried out in class I SDN Kebonsari 3 Malang. Data collection instruments use observation sheets, learning motivation questionnaires and learning outcome tests. Data analysis methods are qualitative and quantitative. The results of the Classroom Action Research are that learning through the TaRL Approach with the Discovery Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes, where there is a positive increase in learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II. Student learning outcomes increased from an average of 80 in Cycle I to an average of 90 in Cycle II. The conclusion obtained from this research is that learning through the TaRL approach with the Discovery Learning Model can improve student motivation and learning outcomes.
