Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis Puisi Siswa Kelas VIII-G SMP Negeri 17 Malang Melalui Media Daftar Kata Bantuan
Abstract
Abstract: This research is based on the low ability to write poetry in class VIII-G students at SMP 17 Malang. This is influenced by several factors, one of which is the media used by teachers to learn to write poetry. Researchers use a list of helpful words to make it easier for students to create a poem. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and classroom action research methods. The techniques used in this research are interview techniques, observation, tests, literature review and analysis. The results of this research were that the ability to write poetry in class VIII-G students at SMP 17 Malang had increased quite significantly. In cycle I the average class score was 74.28 with 16 students having scores above the minimum score. In cycle II the average class score increased to 82.58 with 29 children having scores above the minimum score. This proves that the use of help word list media can improve students' writing skills.
