Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to use the TGT approach "Jumping Shoes" to improve students' motivation and learning results when reading biographical writings. A classroom action research (PTK) methodology is used in this study. This study's focus is SMAN 2 Malang's Class X-E. The target number of pupils in the class is 36, as there are 14 male and 22 female students. The test approach is used in the research to get information on learning outcomes. The study's findings demonstrated an improvement in learning outcomes, with pre-cycle completion being at 75% and rising to 86.1% in cycle I and 100% in cycle II. This justification leads to the conclusion that using the TGT Method "Jumping Shoes" can enhance learning outcomes for students studying Indonesian, particularly when it comes to biographical materials.
