Abstract

Abstract: The results of observations show that the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri Gadang 1, Sukun District, Malang City are still low. To improve the learning outcomes of students, it can be done by improving learning strategies, methods, techniques and media in learning. So researchers see the importance of learning strategies to be effective, by applying the Snowball Throwing learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve IPAS learning outcomes with Snowball Throwing learning model. The subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Gadang 01 Sukun District, Malang City as many as 25 students. This study uses a Classroom Action Research model consisting of 2 cycles. From the test results that have been given, the percentage of individual completeness has increased by 10.2% and the percentage of classical completeness experienced an increase of 32%. Based on the results of this study, Snowball Throwing learning model has succeeded in improving the learning outcomes of IPAS digestive system of human material for fifth grade students of SD Negeri Gadang 01, Sukun District, Malang City.
