Abstract

Abstract: Low student learning outcomes are a result of teachers' incapacity to create an engaging mathematics learning process. The purpose of this Classroom Action Research (PTK) is to ascertain whether employing number board media, class 2 students' comprehension of place value of numbers has increased. Two cycles of the research were conducted, with each cycle having four stages: (1) planning, (2) acting, (3) observing, and (4) reflecting. All 27 of the grade 2 students from SDN Tanjungrejo 3 Malang City were used for the research subjects. Tests and observation sheets were employed as data collection tools, and both quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques were used to analyze the collected data. The study's findings demonstrate that using number board media can enhance learning. The study's findings demonstrate that using number board materials can enhance class II students' place value learning objectives. The average learning outcomes increased from 72.22 with a completeness level of 62.9% in cycle I to 92.59 with a completeness level of 100% in cycle II, demonstrating this.
