Abstract

Abstract: This research reveals attention to the learning process in class II at SDN Sukun 1 Malang, especially to the concept of multiplication operations. This research shows that there are deficiencies in mathematics learning in multiplication material which causes a lack of student involvement and a lack of attention to the teacher's explanations. This has a negative impact on the overall effectiveness of learning. To overcome this problem, researchers tried to introduce dakon media as an aid in teaching mathematics in multiplication material in this class. The results of Classroom Action Research (PTK) confirmed that the use of dakon media was successful in increasing students' understanding and learning outcomes regarding multiplication material, which was in line with expectations based on previously prepared hypotheses.
