Upaya Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Matematika dengan Pemanfaatan Media Canva pada Peserta Didik Kelas V di SDN Kebonsari 1 Kota Malang

Abstract: In achieving an effective and efficient learning goal, the use of media in the learning process is necessary, especially in Mathematics. Based on observations conducted on 5th-grade students at SDN Kebonsari 1 Kota Malang, many students are not interested in Mathematics because the media used by teachers lacks variation. According to the researcher, the teaching method to address this issue in the class is the utilization of Canva media. This research aims to enhance students' interest in learning Mathematics by utilizing Canva media in the fifth-grade class. Based on the results of the research conducted in Cycle I and Cycle II, it is known that the Canva application media successfully increased students' interest in learning. As for the interest in learning during the pre-cycle, out of 27 students, 22 showed a very high interest, 4 were sufficient, and 1 was lacking. In Cycle 1, out of 27 students, 24 had a very high interest, 2 were sufficient, and 1 was lacking. In Cycle 2, out of 27 students, 26 had a very high interest, while 1 was sufficient. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Canva application media has proven to increase students' interest in learning Mathematics. The classical percentage is 96%, showing an increase in interest from 81% to 96%. Thus, based on this data, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Canva application media has successfully increased students interest in learning Mathematics.
