Abstract

     


Abstract: The purpose of this study is to increase students' interest in learning in grade 1 mathematics subjects. This type of research is a classroom action research that is carried out collaboratively and participatively as much as 2 cycles. The subjects in this study were from grade I at SDN Kebonsari I Malang City which amounted to 28 students. This study used the Kemmis and Taggart model which includes planning, action, observation and reflection. The data collection instrument used teacher observation sheets and student questionnaires. The learning model used in this study is TGT (Teams Games Tournament). The subjects of this study were grade 1 students of SDN Kebonsari 1 Malang City. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires, observations, documentation and interviews. In the implementation of classroom actions, there is a change in the increase in student learning interest after cycle 2 actions. This happens because of using puzzle media in learning mathematics. Data analysis is carried out descriptively, qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of this study show that the use of puzzle media can increase the interest in learning of grade 1 students of SDN Kebonsari 1.
