Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to determine whether there is an increase in learning activities Indonesian can be done through a Problem Based Learning approach for grade 1 students of SDN Kebonsari 1 Malang. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation in the form of distribution of questionnaire sheets given to observers. Observer disi is a peer who sees the development of learning activities from cycle I and cycle II. Data processing is carried out with comparative descriptive statistical techniques that serve to compare data obtained from cycle I and cycle II. The results obtained in this study prove that the use of the Problem Based Learning modelĀ  is able to increase learning activities as evidenced by an increase in cycle I and cycle II consisting of visual activity increased by 20%, listening activity increased by 13%, oral activity increased by 13%, writing activity increased by 14% and mental activity increased by 13%.
