Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Pada Kelas VII SMPN 1 Pakisaji Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Pantun Dengan Menggunakan Media Diorama
Abstract
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes of Indonesian language using the discovery learning method in class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Pakisaji Malang, to determine the skills of writing pantun using Diorama learning media and to describe the improvement in student attitudes. The study was conducted in two cycles consisting of four competencies in each cycle, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study was conducted collaboratively between researchers and Indonesian language subject teachers. The data collection techniques used tests, observations and documentation. After the test was carried out on students and the learning outcomes of students reached 80%. After the study was carried out by applying the discovery learning method using diorama media, the results of the study showed that there had been an increase in writing skills and learning outcomes in writing pantun in cycle I where the percentage of teacher activity was 65.90% then increased in cycle II by 81.81% while in cycle I the percentage of pantun writing skills was 66.11% then increased in cycle II by 86.22%. From these results, it can be concluded that the use of the discovery learning method using diorama media can improve the skills of writing pantun in class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Pakisaji Malang in the 2023/2024 academic year.
