Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PJBL) model in improving student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for the 5th grade at SDN Mulyorejo 1 in the 2024/2025 academic year. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, involving 28 students as research subjects. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. In the pretest, only 52% of students achieved mastery, but after PJBL was implemented in Cycles I and II, mastery increased to 71% and 89%, respectively. Improvement was also observed in both the highest and lowest student scores. Thus, PJBL has effectively enhanced student learning outcomes through an active and contextual approach.
