Abstract
Abstract: Challenges in teaching abstract values such as morality and ethics often hinder the achievement of learning objectives. This study aims to improve the critical thinking skills of VA students of SDN Mergosono 2 by examining the effectiveness of using the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model assisted by video in the Pancasila Education curriculum. Classroom Action Research (CAR) has been carried out in two cycles. The results of the study indicate that the use of video media in VCT learning greatly increases students' involvement and ability to articulate the ideals of Pancasila. The data shows an increase in critical thinking skills from 31% in the first cycle to 80% in the second cycle. This study concludes that the combination of the VCT model and video media is effective in improving the quality of Pancasila Education learning, especially in developing students' critical thinking skills. The implication of this study is the need for teachers to continue to evaluate learning media to suit the needs of students.
