Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to show the effectiveness of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) method in improving mathematics learning outcomes in measurement material. This research focuses on the problem of low mathematics learning outcomes for class II students at SD Ciptomulyo 2, which is reflected in the average score of 70.59, while the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) set is 75. The aim of the research is to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class students. III at SD Ciptomulyo 2 through the application of the NHT method. This method involves giving each student in a group a different number, with uniform numbering in each group. Randomly calling student numbers to report the results of group discussions encourages individual accountability for their learning results. This research is classroom action research with a qualitative descriptive approach, and data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results showed that before implementing the NHT method, students' mathematics learning outcomes were still unsatisfactory. However, after implementing the NHT method, there was a significant increase in mathematics learning outcomes in the measurement material.
