Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of 4th-grade students at SDN Mulyorejo 1 in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) using the Project- Based Learning ( PJBL) model. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The research subjects were 24 4th-grade students at SDN Mulyorejo 1 during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through multiple-choice tests and analyzed using completeness and comparative analysis methods. The results of the study showed that the implementation of PJBL significantly improved students' learning outcomes. In the first cycle, 63% of students achieved mastery, increasing to 83% in the second cycle. The increase in students' scores indicates that PJBL not only enhances theoretical understanding but also their practical application skills. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the PJBL model effectively enhances students' cognitive learning outcomes in IPAS material in the 4th grade.
