Abstract
Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Jatimulyo 5 Malang through the application of the discovery learning model assisted by whole number comparison board media. This research uses a classroom action research method with 2 research cycles. The sample for this research was 14 fifth grade students at SDN Jatimulyo 5 Malang. In this study, data collection used a post-test to measure improvements in student learning outcomes. This research showed that the application of the discovery learning model assisted by whole number comparison board media was proven to produce a significant increase in student learning outcomes. At the pre-cycle stage, the percentage increase in student learning outcomes is evaluated by looking at the percentage of learning completeness, namely 60% in the pre-cycle, 86% in cycle I and 95% in cycle II with an average class score of 55, 70 respectively. .85 and 95.
