Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that mathematics learning is a subject that is difficult to understand and there is a lack of student interest in mathematics subjects. This makes students' mathematics learning outcomes low, apart from that, students also still experience difficulties in addition and subtraction material. This research aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of learning aids in the form of an addition and subtraction board or what is called a pajura. This research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method. In this research there are four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The results of this research show that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. This is shown in the pretest percentage results of 23.9%, cycle I posttest results of 46.1% and cycle II posttest results of 93.6%. This shows that the application of Pajura learning media can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes.
