Abstract

Abstract:. The research is motivated by the existence of factors that can support success in effective and enjoyable learning. Teachers are expected to have learning media that suits students' needs and make maximum use of school facilities. This research aims to explain the impact of implementing the discovery learning model assisted by the metamorph board in improving learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects, especially material on the Cycles of Living Creatures. In the first cycle, the score obtained was 56.8 with a classical success rate of 59.25%, which increased in the second cycle to 67.94 with a classical success rate of 62.96%. Thus, based on the results of classroom action research carried out in two cycles, it can be concluded that the use of metamorph boards can improve student learning outcomes in science and science subjects in class III at SDN Mergosono 4 Malang.
