Abstract
Abstract: This study investigates the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method in improving the ability of 8th-grade students at SMPN 23 Malang to write observation reports. Initial observations indicated low performance in writing structured reports, leading to the implementation of PjBL to increase engagement and understanding. The study was conducted over two cycles, involving 32 students from class 8.7. Data were collected through tests and observations, and analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods. The results show a significant improvement in students' writing ability, specifically in structuring reports, utilizing appropriate language, and applying observation data.
