Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to increase students' learning motivation in Indonesian language learning by implementing a problem-based learning model assisted by padlet in class VIII-J of SMP Negeri 1 Wagir with 34 students. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), where the research is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings and is carried out in an action cycle through four main stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques use observation sheets from classroom learning recordings and diagnostic tests. The syntax of the problem-based learning model integrated into the padlet makes it easier for students to access learning. This is indicated by an increase in learning motivation from cycle I, which was 47.06%, to 88.24% in cycle 2. Thus, the results of this study can be utilized by teachers, schools, and other researchers to improve learning outcomes.
