Abstract

Abstract: This research examines the application of pop up book concrete learning media in science and science subjects in class IV elementary school on plant reproduction. This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects. The aim of the research is to determine the application of pop up book concrete learning media in improving student learning outcomes. This research was carried out on August 1 2024 at SD Negeri Ciptomulyo 1, Malang City. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Consisting of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and documentation, namely observing the application of learning media and student learning outcomes through evaluation questions. The research results show that the application of pop up book concrete learning media can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the percentage of classical completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II. In cycle I, 7 out of 23 students completed getting a score above the KKM with an average class score of 60 with a classical completion percentage of 30%, increasing in cycle II where 19 out of 23 students completed getting a score above the KKM with an average class score of 90 with a classical completion percentage of 82%.
