Peningkatan Kemampuan Mengkreasikan Kata Khusus dengan Media Katalog untuk Merancang Puisi Maritim pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Malang
Abstract
Abstract: The method in this research is the Quantitative Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. This research was carried out in the odd semester for 5 meetings in 2 weeks, starting from 5-15 August 2024. The subjects of this research were 32 class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Malang. This research procedure consists of 2 cycles. The data collected in this research was analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. The research results show that creativity in designing poetry can be increased by using catalog media. This is proven by the increasing number of students who have the creative power to design poetry at each meeting in both cycle I and cycle II. At the start of the action there were 11 students or 34.38% who had the creativity to design poetry using catalog media with an assessment of developing very well. Meanwhile, at the end of the action (cycle 2) there were 28 students or 87.53% who had shown creativity in designing poetry using additional media KTM (Maritime Thesaurus Dictionary) with the criteria of developing very well. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the creativity in designing maritime poetry in class VIII at SMP Negeri 7 Malang can be increased by using catalog media enhanced with KTM (Maritime Thesaurus Dictionary).
