Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kontekstual Dengan Media Pembelajaran Blooket Game Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Pada Matapelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas V SDN Purwantoro 5 Malang

Abstract: Based on the results of observations made by researchers on class V students at SDN Purwantoro 5 Malang and interviews with class V homeroom teachers, researchers found the problem of a lack of literacy understanding of reading texts. This research aims to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in grade 5 Indonesian language subjects at SDN Purwantoro 5 Malang through the application of a contextual learning model with Blooket Game learning media. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. The subjects of this research were 5th grade students at SDN Purwantoro with a total of 11 students. Data is collected through learning outcomes tests, student report cards, observations, interviews, pretests and posttests. The results of the research showed that in cycle I an average score of 70 was obtained with a percentage of 50%. In cycle II there was an increase with an average value of 85 with a percentage of 70%. Apart from that, student learning activities have also increased, as can be seen from students' active involvement during learning. The Blooket Game learning media has proven to be effective in motivating students, increasing interaction, and facilitating contextual understanding of Indonesian concepts. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the contextual learning model combined with Blooket Game media can be an effective alternative for improving students' cognitive learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects at elementary school level.
