Abstract

Abstract: Based on the observation results at SDN Arjowinangun 2 Kota Malang, it was found that the learning outcomes of IPAS for fifth-grade students were not yet complete due to the teachers not using concrete objects in their teaching. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the IPAS subject, specifically the Magnet material, by using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model with the assistance of concrete objects. The research method employed is Classroom Action Research (PTK) consisting of two cycles with four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research are 28 fifth-grade students. The data collection techniques used are observation sheets and tests, while the data analysis technique employed is descriptive analysis. The research results show that the percentage of learning achievement completeness increased. In Cycle I, there was an increase of 61%, while in Cycle II, it increased by 71%. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that using a project-based learning approach for the IPAS subject can improve the learning outcomes of students.
