Abstrak

Modules are learning tools that can be used by teaching to improve student activities. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of developing research and developing contextual learning (CTL) based mathematical modules characterized by pop-up flaps illustrations. The development model used in research is the development model of Borg and Gall. In this development model consists of four stages, this stage is: data collection stage, planning stage, product development stage, and validation and trial stages. The results of data analysis from the use of the mathematics module produced the following criteria: a) feasible, with the average percentage of material experts, media experts, student response questionnaires and expert teacher questionnaires respectively 95%, 87%, 93% and 90% b) practical, with the percentage of student learning evaluation results averaging 85%. Based on the results of this study, contextual learning (CTL) based mathematics modules characterized by pop-up flaps illustrations can be used for learning because they have produced the following criteria that are feasible, practical, and effective
