Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the independent character of students in grade III online learning at SD Negeri 2 Sumbersuko. This study uses case studies. Research instruments use observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using triangulation. The result of this study is that students' independent character is seen in self-development including routine activities, spontaneous attitudes and conditioning. In the self-character of students in online learning, the role of teacher and parent is required so that students can be independent during online learning. Obstacles in instilling the student's independent character in online learning is that students do not do the tasks given by the teacher, play continuously until they forget the time and always ask the parents when doing the task. Further research is expected to reveal other facts about students' independent character in online learning using different sources and research in.
