Pengembangan Ensiklopedia Berbasis Literasi Membaca Anak Pada Materi Energi Alternatif dan Penggunaannya di SDN 3 Tambakasri Sumbermanjing Wetan

Abstrak

Abstract: Learning at SDN 3 Tambakasri is currently more motivated by teaching materials from the government, namely the K13 teacher book and also the K13 student book. So it is necessary to have teaching materials in the form of an encyclopedia based on children's reading literacy on alternative energy materials and their use in accordance with the current situation and conditions. Where the teaching materials used are currently not detailed and complete, so that students feel bored and lack enthusiasm and they lack reading literacy. The aim of this research is to develop a valid and practical encyclopedia based on reading literacy for elementary school children. The development research method uses the 4D model which consists of 4 stages, namely: the define stage, the design stage, the develop stage, the dissemination stage. The data were analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the children's reading literacy-based encyclopedia is declared valid by experts with details of material experts having very feasible criteria with a percentage of 85% (Eligible), Media validation conducted by media experts has very feasible criteria with a percentage of 71.875% (Eligible), Media validation carried out by linguists has very feasible criteria with a percentage of 91%. In addition, the results of the questionnaire conducted for trials at SDN 3 Addasri to grade 4 students showed a percentage of 79.72% and 90.38% of practitioners (feasible). So that the encyclopedia teaching materials based on children's reading literacy are valid and practical in elementary school science learning.
