Pengaruh Model Mind Mapping Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Tematik Siswa Kelas IV SDN Sukun 2 Kota Malang
Abstrak
Abstract: This study aims to determine the differences in the motivation of students who are taught through the mind mapping learning model with the conventional learning model carried out at SDN Sukun 2 Malang City in the 2019/2020 school year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students and the sample of this study consisted of 28 students in class IVA as the experimental class and 28 students in class IVB as the control class. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data were collected using a questionnaire and a student learning motivation test then analyzed using the independent simple t-test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in student learning motivation as measured using the mind mapping learning model with students whose learning uses conventional learning models with a value of tcount> ttable (3,480> 1.70) at a significant level of 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the mind mapping learning model has a positive impact on students' thematic learning motivation. Mind mapping learning model is proven to be able to increase student learning motivation. Therefore, if it can be used in thematic learning, so that thematic learning objectives can be achieved optimally.
